The Cover

Green tea extract (GTE) induces actin stress fiber and focal adhesion complex formations. This effect was blocked by C3 exoenzyme, a specific inhibitor of Rho activity. Cells cultured directly on cover glass were fixed with 3.7% paraformaldehyde and subjected for triple labeling of F-actin/paxillin/DNA. Red, Paxillin (McAb anti-paxillin followed by Cy3-conjugated Goat Anti-Mouse IgG), green, F-actin (Bodipy-conjugated phallacidin); blue, DNA (4',6-diamidino-2-phenylindole). Image was taken at 100x object under oil immersion.
