Mice bearing orthotopic ovarian carcinoma were treated with FAK siRNA in DOPC liposomes with or without docetaxel. The cover figure shows immunofluorescence dual-localization (yellow) of endothelial cells (red) and apoptotic cells (green) in sections obtained from mice treated with combination therapy. The greatest increase in endothelial cell apoptosis was observed following treatment with combination of FAK siRNA-DOPC and docetaxel.
