FISH analysis of 9p21 locus in HPV16-positive oropharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma. The cytogenetic analysis was performed using a CEP9/9p21 probe to interphasic nuclei. The nuclei showed a normal disomic hybridization pattern of 9p21 represented by two centromere 9 signals (green spots) coupled with two 9p21 signals (red spots).
