About the Cover
Three-dimensional display of NY-BR-1 protein expression in
invasive breast cancer cells by confocal microscopy. NY-BR-1 is a
differentiation antigen of mammary epithelial cells and a potential
target for immunotherapy of breast carcinoma. Nuclear chromatin
is stained in red. Diffuse cytoplasmic (green) and also nuclear
(yellow; superimposed) staining of NY-BR-1 protein can be seen.
The expression of NY-BR-1 is lost with tumor progression. For further
details, see Varga et al. on page 2745 of this issue.
