About the Cover

Cover Figure

Microtubule organization assessed by confocal microscopy in the presence of an anticancer agent. Treatment of cancer cells with a low concentration of docetaxel as a single agent causes only minor aberrant mitotic figures, whereas ZD1839 (gefitinib) or celecoxib induces bundled microtubules. Recently, it was found that the addition of celecoxib and ZD1839 to docetaxel markedly increased the frequency of aberrant mitosis observed after 24 hours of treatment. For further details, please see Choe et al. on page 3015 in this issue.
