About the Cover

Cover Figure

Enzymes including AKT and phospholipase C gamma (PLCg) mediate many of their functions through localization to the cell membrane via their PH domains. Such localization is shown here for PLCg using a green fluorescent protein tag. Perifosine inhibits the localization of the PH domain of AKT but not of PLCg to the cell membrane. For further details, please see Hennessy and colleagues on page 7421 in this issue.
