    Ibrutinib arrests the chronic inflammatory drive supporting CLL. Within the lymph node, the bidirectional interactions between the CLL cell and inflammatory immune populations (e.g., macrophages, PD1+ T cells, Th17 cells) aid and abet CLL maintenance and expansion (top).
